Southpaw Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 July 2026

In short

Southpaw is a round timer for boxing, MMA, Muay Thai and HIIT that works entirely offline. It collects no data at all: no name, no email, no location, no identifiers. No ads, no analytics, no accounts. Nothing you do in the app ever leaves your phone.

Who is responsible

Sergio Díaz Marcos, Principality of Andorra.
Contact: [email protected]

What stays on your device

Your round configuration, custom presets and sound settings are stored locally on your phone. They are never sent to any server, mine or anyone else's. Uninstall the app and they are gone.

The Southpaw Pro purchase

The one-time Southpaw Pro purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. I never see or receive your payment details: I only know whether the purchase completed, so the Pro features can be unlocked on your device.

No ads, no tracking

Southpaw integrates no ad network, no analytics SDK and no trackers. There is no consent form because there is nothing to consent to: the app does not process personal data.

Children

Southpaw collects data from no one, including children. If you have any question about a child in your care using the app, write to me.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or objection regarding your data by writing to [email protected].

In practice, since I store nothing about you on any server, you can exercise erasure yourself by uninstalling the app.

Applicable law

The controller is established in the Principality of Andorra, so the Llei 29/2021, qualificada de protecció de dades personals applies. As the app is also offered to users in the European Economic Area, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) also applies under its Article 3.2.

If you believe I have not handled your rights properly, you can file a complaint with the Andorran Data Protection Agency or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above will be updated. Changes that affect what is collected will be announced inside the app before they take effect.
